I’d give it a solid 8.5/10. The episode was honestly amazing, but I just can’t give it a 10 because some parts felt a little rushed. I understand that it’s not really the anime’s fault, and I probably would’ve enjoyed it even more if we got to see things like Subaru seeing his original self being consoled by Rem, along with some of the other moments in more depth. But my main issue was when the two Subarus finally met. I was genuinely about to tear up watching that scene, but at the same time, I couldn’t help feeling like it was rushed. Trauma, especially trauma as deep as Subaru’s, doesn’t just disappear that quickly. I feel like that moment needed more time and depth to really show what he was going through and how much that encounter actually meant to him. Still, an incredible episode overall. Just wish they had slowed down a little and let those emotional moments breathe. (but at the same time I know it's hard due to costs and the time it would need to adapt to it)
