The war on Iran and other conflicts in the Middle East is a wake up call for countries that depend on imported fossil fuel. The ongoing war between the U.S.-Israel coalition and Iran has heavily disrupted 20% to 25% of global energy flows through the critical Strait of Hormuz. They are looking to diversify their energy sources from there and to use other sources of energy, such as hydro, solar and wind powers. China's solar panels and electric vehicles are in high demand globally.
