The comments both here and on Twitter are a prime example of lack of literacy. He is using them as an example of jumping into a new car which they’ve never driven before and being able to put in good times when it usually takes time to get used to a new car (look at Hamilton last year), but which shows how little driver input makes a difference on these regulations since it’s heavily controlled by AI “optimal” laps and battery control. He’s not dragging neither yuki or Liam, simply using them as an a sample bcs they were the only drivers who jumped into a new car in the middle of this season.

usually it takes drivers time to get used to a new car, like Lewis and carlos last year for example Max's point is how a driver now changing cars overnight doesn't make any difference, driver input is no longer relevant
