The mascara is the same wand. It’s just that when you pull it out from the top, it has less product when you take it from the bottom, it has more product on the wand.

the mascara is not broken. The top stopper for the lengthening part is tighter so that less product comes out. The stopper of the bottom part for the thickening part is less tight so that more product comes out. It only has one wand. if you try it again you'll see. 😊
