Everyone just asks redundant questions constantly and wastes the profs time. We ruled out a solution because it was complex and we aren’t using those in our calc 1 and then three questions were asked like “can we provide complex solutions”

i’ll never forget the way my ex used to put the girls in his calc classes down for being confused/ not knowing everything just for his ahh to drop out of the engineering college and do marketing.

There’s a difference between engaging with the material and the professor in class and trying to show how smart you are brining up irrelevant information and derailing the lecture when we only have a certain amount of allotted time

My calc 1 and 2 had these high school students who had a engineering type of class at their high school. I had to explain once or twice that my school didn’t and that I actually had to teach myself trig bc, unlike their high school with 6 math teachers, mine had 3 and had middle school to teach
