Edo wise :
I understand why many people are saying Pastor Amos preached the truth, and yes, what he said may have been true. But for me, the issue is not only whether something is true. It is also about how, when, and where that truth is spoken.
There are certain truths that, if you know they will destroy someone, break a home, or seriously hurt another person, you need wisdom before saying them publicly. Not every truth needs to be revealed immediately. Sometimes silence is wisdom.
Even if Pastor Amos felt the need to address that issue, I believe he could have waited until the following Sunday and used it as a general topic for the church, without directly exposing or hurting anyone on that particular day.
So, in my opinion, he may have spoken the truth, but he delivered it in the wrong way and at the wrong time. Truth needs wisdom, love, and the right timing.
