Voting no 👎🏻 Property taxes pay for the police, fire dept, libraries, parks, roadways, water infrastructure, trash pickup, etc. This isn’t just a matter of local counties tightening their belts, it’s going to impact county services tremendously. The state did zero impact studies when writing this up and it’s going to create massive budget shortfalls in small and large counties alike. I’m for tax relief, but the plan has to make sense, amendment 3 doesn’t.

Voting No. Its just a tax shift. I want quality of life, not a Dollar General environment. At the end its just the local government that wont get funded. You still have other taxes and fees to pay.

The idea that this has anything to do with affordability as a joke when you consider the circumstance around the egregiously inflated property values in Florida right now. The property tax savings is not going to do anything to make buying your primary residence in Florida any more affordable.

voting no. I like the services I get, and I wish we had more. only vote yes if you think parks, roads, 911 service, libraries, disaster response is a waste of money and you don't need it. but don't bitch when you die from a heat attack from slow 911 service or the police don't come to your house when you have a burglary, or when you shit gets destroyed in the next hurricane because your community wasn't prepared. also enjoy the potholes when driving around.
