CHILLI CHEESE FRIES with a hot honey twist!🍂🍯🌶️ Crispy fries, spicy saucy mince, melty Mexican cheese and that sweet & spicy hot honey drizzle.. honestly??? UNREAL♥️ Basically fakeaway loaded fries but made at home in like 30 mins.. so actually less effort & quicker than driving to or waiting on a takeaway?? You can remove the hot honey if you like or keep & add extra toppings like jalapeños whatever your fancy✨ Ingredients (serves 4) • 400-500g lean beef mince • 1 small onion (I used frozen) • 2 tsp minced garlic (I used lazy) • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp chilli powder • 1 tsp Italian seasoning • Salt & pepper • 1 tbsp tomato purée • 1 tin chopped tomatoes • 50ml water • 2 tbsp hot honey • 1 tsp chilli flakes • Cheese (I used Mexicana cheddar slices & some grated mozzarella) 👩🏼‍🍳 1. (If using oven fries pop them in now) Fry of your mince & then add your onion & then add your garlic 2. Add your tomato puree & let it cook down until it turns slightly darker in colour, mix in. 3. Add all your seasoning, salt & pepper & drizzle on your hot honey. 4. Add your chopped tomatoes & water to make it saucy. Let it bubble away until thickened. 5. Add your cheese/cheese slices, pop the lid on a leave for a few minutes while that melts! 6. Load up your crispy fries with the spicy mince with all the melted cheese! I added another very generous drizzle of hot honey.
