Found Not guilty because by reason of insanity doesn’t mean she gets to go home. She will be locked up in a mental institution for most of her life under state custody forever. She will not be able to be near children ever and mental health treatment is a mandatory.

Not guilty by reason of insanity doesn't mean the person walks. They are confined to a mental institution. Unlike a regular guilty plea, there's no timeline. A lot of those people spend more time in confinement than a prison sentence.

Every serial killer was clinically insane and still found responsible for the crimes they committed!!! What’s the difference here???? She knew what she was doing!! She planned it. She lured the children to the basement. She methodically used bands to strangle them. I don’t see the split second decision of temporary insanity!!! She’s evil!!
