Liars often add extra details to make a fake story feel more real. They think more facts equals more trust so they add unnecessary info. Their overcompensating ends up tripping them up in the end because more facts equals more mistakes & contradictions.

Amy Griffin was able to remember detailed events involving Mr. Mason the bathroom, the Jeep, the abuse, and other specific details. My question is: can MDMA also cause someone to forget certain information? She appeared to remember everything about what happened with the teacher, yet suddenly couldn’t remember her own address when speaking with the officer. I’m wondering how that could happen and whether MDMA could explain that kind of selective memory loss 🤔
