Nvidia cards do generally give better performance than AMD, but AMD gives better price to performance so it's really about your budget and priorities

They aren’t. Amd and nvida cards are built for different purposes. If you just want raw gaming performance go with Amd. If you do content creation or work using your computer or maybe you are trying to push non-competitive games to significantly higher frame rate using frame generation, It is worth paying that extra 500 bucks for the features that nvidia offers.

amd doesnt focus on super high end tjey focus on low to mid tier typically, but amd is a lot better for the price. ie, 9060xt 16gb $400 5060ti 16gb/5070 $800

it genuinely depends. amd is better if you use linux or dont use upscaling, framegen, or raytracing. nvidia is better if you care about upscaling, framegen, or rt, or if you're building a super high end pc

NVIDIA is better than AMD because you get DLSS, ray tracing, frame generation, superior upscaling, and eventually access to the Six Paths. At a certain point you’re not even gaming anymore—you’ve transcended the GPU hierarchy, unlocked divine ocular abilities, and started rendering reality itself at 240 FPS. AMD gives you great value. NVIDIA gives you enlightenment.

AMD raw power is better. But NVIDIA is better overall because of all the features like DLSS.

Nvidia has more money better technology and I’d mainly focused on AI and graphic cards while AMD is cpu focused and creates gamer specific hardware nvidia is stronger because their company is more than gaming and amd is strictly affordable gaming

well, Gaming performance is pretty equal (until you get to the 5080 and 5090) but generally, they have a much more mature feature stack such as better encoders for video editing/rendering, Cuda is basically the default for any type of content creation work and Nvidia Gpus are excellent at A.I workloads. AMD cards will get the job done just fine most of the time but if you want the best experience, Nvidia is the better all arounder (hence the popularity and higher price tag)

Nvidia only has a few gpus better than my 9070 and they are 50 series for 5x the price I dont need framegen or raytracing or upscaling I do not need to spend 2-8k on a gpu

They aren’t YES Nvidia does make some cards with more raw gaming performance (really ONLY the 5080 and 5090 rn but if you’re looking into a 5070 ti or lower PLEASE consider AMD they do have WAY better price to performance but I will also admit if you want more performance than a 9070 XT you HAVE to go with Nvidia
