Y’all act as if book Ron was Superman 😂.. Sure he had several more ‘ brave ‘ moments in the books, but movie Ron didnt feel like a dumb side character to me at all. They may gave him some more comedy but he showed that he could be brave more than enough times in the movies also. It doesnt always have to be exactly the same, sometimes actors give their own twist and i like that.

I cannot help but suspect that the people contending that the series “is not necessary” are people who have never read the books. Anyone who has read the books knows exactly how much rich, deep content was eliminated from the movies.

The trio in the books has some of the most insane moments from hermoine trapping Rita in a jar or Ron ready to sacrifice himself for Harry I mean overall they where so much more unhinged and complex than in the movies where they only have one defining characteristic book wise they much more layered and human in a way
