The issue is trucks have gone more technology less good mechanical. They are building them to be smart phones with good fuel efficiency. I build trucks and I wont lie.. the older pre emissions, deck style Radio trucks are going to out live the newer ones. Im sorry your having issues.

Non Diesel - 100% Toyota!! Diesel - 100% Ford. I’ve had a Ram it was junk. I had a Chevy and my story is similar to this. Except It died pulling off the lot! I got my money back.

2023, 3500 limited longhorn dually. literally my dream truck. bed cam doesnt work, navigation no longer shows direction, map system shows im permenantly in alaska, radio doesnt update what's playing... minor but still annoying af needs a software update.

Coming from someone in the auto industry, it’s not just Ram. It’s EVERYTHING new, what happened to you sounds like a common occurance these days. Too much technology for some that we just need to pull our horse trailers 🫠

Dodge, Chrysler Jeep is known for major issues. My parents had 2 jeep grand cherokees and transmission went in both. The second one would turn off when driving if you accidentally touched the keys in the ignition. Never again!

Girl I watched the whole you tube and the sexist BS at repair shops is real! I once had a place tell me “well your glow plugs are in great shape”, to which I replied “of course because remember when I told you I just replaced them?” Let me tell you whenever I find mechanics that will listen to me and respect the fact that I often work on my own vehicles, I am loyal as all hell to them.

My fords engine blew, but it had almost 300,000 miles on it, a week later I inherited my dads ram 2500 with 60k miles on it and had replace the transmissions. If I hadn’t inherited the ram that was paid off, I would have gotten a ford again.
