@pancantgetme: I am still going to pursue medical aid in dying within the state of Illinois which is where I live. In the meantime, I did get early access to Daraxonrasib which cleared FDA approval recently under the drug name Rasonque. I do have side effects like skin rash, my first mouth sore, and GI symptoms (nausea, vomiting, and mostly diarrhea). Although, we did reduce dosage to 150 mg for a bit to see if this helps the diarrhea and so far it has helped. I had a new CT and MRI last Saturday September 5, 2026 and I get my results tomorrow September 10th, 2026. I am hoping to hear no new growth since starting this new drug. I have NRAS Q61R genetic mutation which is extremely rare in pancreatic cancer so we’ll just have to wait and see what the scans say since someone with my exact mutation were not in the original clinical trials. Also, the clinical trial data was not broken down my genetic mutation either. So here we are praying it has slowed/stopped progression so as to get some more time to spend with my children and grandchildren. #daraxonrasib #pancreaticcancer #cancerwarrior #terminalcancer
