I have never been on holiday with a guy where they’ve packed the night before and then either got to the airport or destination and they’ve gone “sht I haven’t got XYZ” or they’ve realised they don’t have something and the mooch it off a woman they’ve travelled with.

i go on a fair amount of holidays (THAT IS NOT A BRAG IT IS A STATEMENT READ THE REST) and never have i once pack b4 3 hours till i leave my personal best was a school trip to france where i was packing at 4am and had to be at school at 5:30am (yes i forgot badically everything but i made do)

I pack the night before/morning of for cables and I’ve only forgotten a hairbrush once and a charger cable once, luckily there were other tech that had the same charger cable

I got told on my way back into the country, by UK CUSTOMS, that I 'didn't bring very much.' i was in paris overnight. i took a small backpack with 2 t-shirts, a hoodie, and a change of underwear/socks. I OVERPACKED, one of the tshirts went unused (i forgot a toothbrush and had to buy one there)
