I have a feeling that this series was made not out of love for history or the art of cinema, but for marketing purposes (that's why all the shots are centric so it's easier to cut for TikTok) and that's why the characters drink from glasses when the book mentioned goblets, that's why Hogwarts looks like a small room instead of a majestic castle, and that's why they cast a handsome actor to play Snape, who by definition should be unpleasant
