@jannasbotanicalcorner: ✨Beneficial bug update 🕷️✨ It’s been a few days since I released beneficials into my grow tent and here’s what I noticed. A lot of the Persimilis I’m finding now look shriveled up/dead, while the Californicus are still VERY active and crawling all over the leaves. Still getting used to seeing mites crawling around my plants and reminding myself that these are the good guys. 🤣 From what I’ve been reading, Persimilis are pretty dependent on spider mites as their food source, so once prey becomes scarce, their population can start dying off or dispersing. Soooo… I’m hoping this means they did their job and ran out of food. 👀🤞🏼 But I’m definitely not calling the battle over yet! Anyone experienced with beneficials .. does this sound like a good sign to you? Or are there other possibilities I should be looking for?
