@ivylanehome: Here’s the exception I promised: I may still create a video for a product with more than 10 competing influencer videos if the brand offers to send me something I genuinely want. In that situation, I’m accepting because the product itself has value to me—not because I expect the video to become a big earner. Any commission it generates is a bonus. But here’s something important I should clarify: I rarely purchase products specifically to review. I use Viral Vue to filter the products with active Creator Connections campaigns. I look at sales, the Viral Vue score, carousel potential and influencer competition. Then I request the strongest products directly from the brands. I even have a message template saved, so I can select the products I’m interested in and send up to 20 brand requests per day. A gifted product still requires work. I have to communicate with the brand, test the product, create the video and submit the content. That’s why I don’t request everything—I look for products that are both useful to me and have strong earning potential.
