There are a lot of challenges that come with doing everything ourselves, but one of the biggest is something we can’t change: we simply can’t compete with big businesses on production speed. A large embroidery operation can run 50+ hats at once. We can run one. And while that might not seem like a big difference, in the embroidery world, time is money. The less time a design spends on a machine, the less it costs to produce. That’s a big reason you’ll see trendy embroidered hats for $9 or less from large companies and overseas sellers. For us, charging $9 for a hat wouldn’t just mean making less profit. It would mean not paying ourselves for the hours, skill, equipment, materials, and effort that go into making it and that just won’t put food on our table. But here’s the thing… We don’t want to be a big business. We want to be the people you know. The people who recognize your business when we see your logo around town. The people who care about getting your order right. The people who answer your messages, make your hats one at a time, and celebrate when your business succeeds. When you shop with us, you’re not just buying a hat. You’re helping support a family, a dream, and a small business right here in our community. We may never be able to compete with a factory on speed or price and honestly, we’re okay with that. Because what we lack in quantity, we pour into quality, craftsmanship, relationships, and heart. Outsource it to them and make a few dollars off each hat and when you get enough of those orders you start adding equipment. These companies charge $3 per hat for the embroidery you can at least double or triple that.

tiktok sucks for a small sellers. .only a small percentage actually make money to live..now these dumb auctions are making it even harder for small businesses..buying bulk that is new but few yrs old is killing it on tt.....now people don't want to pay regular prices..all want cheap prices..my football shirts take 1:02 1 hr 2 minutes 50,000 stitches...no way can I sale for cheap..I am using more expensive tsirts with more expensive thred..tt days are about over..

We once outsource a significant order to Outdoor Cap, but the results were disastrous! The design was misaligned both vertically and horizontally. In our opinion, it’s always best to design and create things yourself.
