Back in November 2025, six 10,000 m³ fixed dome roof oil storage tanks were under simultaneous construction, all using the classic jacking method. The two tanks with faster progress had already entered the shell plate erection stage, with wind protection enclosures installed around them to provide more stable conditions for welding and reduce the influence of wind and other external factors. Depending on the project and industry, these large steel tanks may also be known as Oil Tanks, Oil Storage Tanks, Diesel Storage Tanks, Gasoline Storage Tanks, Fixed Roof Tanks, Dome Roof Tanks, Vertical Storage Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Cylindrical Storage Tanks, Welded Steel Tanks, Field-Erected Tanks, or Large Industrial Storage Tanks. For us, 10,000 m³ isn't the largest tank we've worked on. We have also participated in the construction of 150,000 m³ double-deck external floating roof crude oil tanks. But the value of engineering has never been simply about who builds the biggest. Constructing six 10,000 m³ tanks simultaneously still demands strong capabilities in factory prefabrication, site organization, welding quality control, schedule management, and coordinated multi-tank construction.
