Thinking about it with them being so large and rare I'm surprised they haven't been taken into a museum for preservation. I know they've survived there for millions of years without intervention, but I'm guessing each time the tide comes in with debris there's risk of them deteriorating faster or potentially getting damaged.

I'm gonna be that person but fun fact! The Marine reptiles weren't actually dinosaurs! Same with the pterosaurs, they were flying reptiles but not dinosaurs
