@samantha.busch: Cooking for Kyle was always one of my love languages. I loved making all his favorites, my homemade sauce, steaks, tacos, but nothing beat a trip to In-N-Out. The second we landed on the West Coast, he’d yell to the group, “What’s the rule?” and we’d all know the answer: “First stop, In-N-Out!” 🍔 His order was always a Double-Double with extra pickles, diced chilies and animal-style fries. So today, I turned his fav order into a burger bowl that the kids and I could enjoy in honor of him. It’s crazy how something as simple as a meal can hold so many memories. Making this took me right back to all those West Coast trips, the laughs, the smiles and hearing him ask that same question every single time. I miss those moments more than I could ever say.
