@tonykomen_: Kenyan planning to move ABROAD Remember THIS. 👀 One thing I’ve genuinely learned since moving abroad is that everyone’s experience is different. You’ll hear so many stories before you come. Some good. Some difficult. Some that might even make you question whether you should take that step at all. And listen to them. Learn from them. Take the advice that helps you prepare. But don’t let somebody else’s experience decide yours before you even experience it. We all have different paths. Different opportunities. Different challenges. Different people we’ll meet along the way. For me, I came with an open mind. I trusted God, stayed confident and simply followed through with my own journey. And I’m still learning. Still growing. Still writing my own story. That’s probably one of the biggest things moving abroad has taught me. There is no single way your life has to unfold. Prepare yourself. Do your research. Learn from people. But at some point, you also have to take that step, trust God and allow yourself to experience life for yourself.
