@justinelucyyink: oh yeah don't do THAT one. doesn't seem fun. But seriously wether you like it or not, unless you are putting a lot of money in advertising, utilizing social media is the second best way to get clients aside from word of mouth. Unfortunately as artists that means our tattoos aren't what the algorithm is interested in pushing 90% of the time. Leaving us to compete with everyone else for attention and sometimes that means making a bunch of random skits in hopes people who seem them might click in and see what you ACTUALLY want them to see - your tattoos. the way I look at it, if the funny skit videos get you to see my profile or makes it more likely one of my tattoo videos get to your eyes - it was worth it. and it was free. yes we signed up to be tattoo artists not content creators, but you can't say you tried 'everything' to get clients if you really didn't. It would be ideal if our tattoos were enough but people want to know YOU as well. some people come for you and stay for the art and as long as you have fun it's all ok. complaining about it and doing nothing is just old man yells at cloud #femaletattooartists #tattoohelp #tattootok #tattoodrama
