@kkearah.kkraus: I’ve been taking creatine for 1 month now!! Is it normal to feel this way??😭 #creatinesideeffects #creatineupdate #1monthoncreatine #creatinemonohydrate #creatineforwomen
I am SNATCHED because of creatine and this is what I do:
You have to drink 2.5 L of water. Take it before you go to sleep not after the workout. Check the brand of creatine you’re taking maybe it doesn’t go well with your tummy. Don’t take it on an empty stomach. And this the creatine that I take

Also, research the brand of creatine you're using, not just creatine in general. Some brands add other chemicals to their formula that lead to negative side effects, including steroids. My nephew grew a lump on his chest as result.

Creatine is a cheat code but you need to track your hydration while taking it otherwise it’s useless

hey gurl just make sure the creatine you take
1) is creatine mono hydrate.
2) only take about 5g per day.
3) Yes drinking more water should help altho if you drink 3 to 4 of those a day it should be enough
4) if you use a pre workout mix it in that before your workouts it should help. also don't dissolve it in hot water or coffee because then it turn into creaton wich is chemically diffrent and when you drink it make sure to drink it with electrolytes to give it a better delivery system
if none of these tips help then I honestly don't know

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s causing your creatinine levels to rise.. i’ve had tons of patients(even friends & family have this. F) Actually, a few of my friends and family didn’t have any side effects, went for the regular scheduled once a year, bloodwork and found that their kidney function, a.k.a. your creatinine significantly.. high.. even in a very dangerous level, a.k.a. acute kidney failure level.. as a medical professional , whi works in Nephrology and also a 12 year post kidney transplant recipient myself. They came to me wanting to know why… As soon as i heard about them taking that, I told them to stop.. Then surprise surprise I kidney function went back to normal. ..

Creatine is gonna have more cognitive effects than anything. The effects it has on muscle recovery and growth are very minuscule so I don’t think it’s worth taking

we just need patience and follow the rules when taking it. drinking water at the right time. I just have 5gm a day mainly for health reasons. for better brain functions, prevent hormonal changes

Split your dose to help with the gi issues. Timing your carbs around your workouts should help.

@BloodyByte: Depends on how much you are taking. If it is 5g, take 3.5 and increase slowly. Maximum 5g a day. I use the creatine mono from gnc and vitamin shop

I experienced this as well, but I made sure I mix it until it's COMPLETELY dissolved. I use hand frother to make sure nothing gritty felt when I drink it. hope this helps!

after a month most people’s bodies have adjusted, I wonder if it’s something about the specific creatine you’re using. I would recommend a) capsules (they reduced my GI symptoms because of slower absorption) b) that are third-party tested (if your creatine isn’t already). also, regarding water consumption: it might help your workouts to drink a lot of water but contrary to what a lot of people say, you really only /need/ enough to stay hydrated. if you drink enough water now, there isn’t strictly a need to drink more and I doubt it will make the nausea better. but it’s worth a shot I guess

I started a few weeks ago and I’m trying to give it enough time before determining if it’s giving any benefits. I mostly incorporated it for mental/brain health during perimenopause. I needed something to help with brain fog! I made sure to get a brand that’s 3rd party tested and very clean. What I have noticed so far is how thirsty I am. It’s better now vs when I first started, though.
