Remember if you take the auto luber off and grease comes oozing out your grease line has hard grease in it. You need to purge your line then install the new one.

Safety first, but I would consider leaving the shields off, I had a squirrel building a nest in one, knocked it before fall, and he had it rebuilt before we started harvesting
