I miss going to see sad movies with her and when it would get really emotional, she’d grab my hand and whisper “You are my world.” Every single time. The pain is unbearable and somehow we are just supposed to know how to handle it. But how rich are we that we got to love them. ❤️I see you girly.

I’m terrified of this. My mom and I talk everyday. My dad and I have the same brain and my mom and I have the same heart. I can’t even imagine. I’m nearly 27, but my parents had me later in life. I’m hoping my mom lives up to the family line of “Greeks never die” because my grandma died at 90 but my mom is 72. I’m terrified.

I got married two months ago and moved about 9 hours away. I miss my mom terribly. We would have fun just going anywhere and doing anything. Costco trips with her were the best.

I hear you. I don’t think we prepare our 40-something kids to live life after us. I know my mom, though. She always said, “Gussie, go home to your babies.”🥺 So, it’s one foot in front of the other… until my kids take that same journey, and hopefully they’ll have learned how to keep walking too…

me too. we had target (with coffees) and hobby lobby days every week. its almost been 3 years. I lost her when I was 38. it isnt fair.

Yup! I would go see her for the weekend… we spent our time shopping, eating and watching hallmark movies. I didn’t know I was living in the good ol days then. 😭

Ours used to wear me out some days. I would complain so much to Kat about it. What I wouldn’t give to just have ONE of those days again. She’s also the reason I try to be at all of A&K’s comps. Mom would have been there for those girls cheering them on whether she needed to be or not. I just want those girls to experience what we did growing up and having someone support them fully.
