My Nepo babies have finally graduated from the whelping cage to their next phase of life. 😂 As you can see, their legs aren’t quite strong yet. They’re still wobbling, stumbling around, and curiously exploring their environment, and honestly, watching them discover the world is one of the sweetest parts of raising puppies. I actually wasn’t supposed to let them out just yet. I came out to check on them and discovered they had completely messed up the whelping area. 😂 Tilda normally does her part by cleaning up after them, but this time she didn’t, so Daddy had to step in, clean everything up, and give the little ones some supervised time outside. Of course, they’re back in already because I don’t want them wandering around for too long at this stage. They’re still exclusively nursing from Mama Tilda, and that milk is doing exactly what nature designed it to do, providing them with essential nutrients, antibodies and energy needed for healthy growth and development. At around this stage, puppies are becoming increasingly curious and aware of their surroundings, so short, safe and supervised exposure to different surfaces, sounds and environments can be beneficial. But it’s equally important to make sure they have plenty of rest and continue nursing properly. Little by little, those wobbly legs will become stronger, their confidence will grow, and before we know it, these tiny Nepo babies will be running this whole compound. 😂❤️ #doglife #boerboelpuppy #dogtips #dogcommunity
