The worst part - WORST was when the expected patients did NOT come. I will never get over it and really can’t describe that day as a nurse.

That section of the Pentagon was under renovation and empty where the plane hit. Grateful only 10 were injured and hopefully not seriously injured in that incident.

I lived right there and drove by the Pentagon right after it happened!! Our first responders did an amazing job!!! I watched it burn for 4 months and everyone worked so hard to recover everyone and anything they could. They did not get enough credit! It brings tears to my eyes 25 years later remembering that day.

This is such an important documentation. In the OKC bombing we had a nurse stop to help survivors and attempted to pull people out and died from falling debris.

And then there’s people in their 20s saying that we need to get the F over it! 😡 that day literally changed everyone’s life. How do you get over something like that?

I was waiting to leave for a pre-employment physical. I never went. Took a job at another hospital in the ED. Stayed there 16 years. I am now at that other hospital 25 years later as an educator.

@⭐️Just Me ⭐️: I was heading to my college class that morning in southern Maryland. And was so worried my dad was in the pentagon that morning. He was not. However many my friends lost their parents that day. 😭 It was awful.
