@keriberry_: I’ve watched these girls face challenges that no child should ever have to face. One has had to navigate a rare eye disease and the reality of blindness. The other has faced not one but TWO life altering autoimmune diseases. Their paths haven’t always been fair. They’ve had moments that have broken my heart as their mom. Moments when I’ve wished I could take the struggle away and carry it for them. But they keep going. They overcome. They persevere. They adapt. They grow. And somehow, through it all, they continue to become the most incredible young women. I am so beyond proud of the women my daughters are becoming. Not just because of what they’ve accomplished, but because of WHO they are their strength, their compassion, their resilience, and the beautiful souls they carry. Motherhood has taught me that sometimes your greatest accomplishment isn’t something you achieve yourself. Sometimes, it’s watching the people you brought into this world become everything you could have ever dreamed they would be. And my girls...They are more than I could have ever dreamed. I may have made mistakes in this life but being their mom will forever be one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever been given. I am endlessly grateful, incredibly proud, and I will spend the rest of my life cheering them on. ❤️ My girls. My heart. My greatest blessing.
