I’m a medic. I have been in EMS for 6 years now. Total calls: 2381. Total saves: 663. The hardest part about the job is knowing I had part in 1,718 deaths. I have seen more people pass in the ER then most military now. I’m not saying this to be mean or rude I respect our service members, but death is my job and every day I try and save someone I’m 5-6 minutes to late to save. Medical is the hardest job on the planet idc if your a EMT a nurse a doctor a surgeon or a medic I bless the work you do to keep another life going one more day. Well done.

loving and healing does not take effort and patience. I spent 5 hours sitting and digging in my sister's eyes for contacts that got stuck on here eye. 5 straight hours. I did not feel an ounce of annoyance, discomfort, or anything negative until the job was done. I have stayed up all night to care for little baby animals too, sick ones as well. never complained. never sucked. because the result of that effort is comfort and happiness. if you are miserable and impatient healing someone, you're just doing it to be selfish.
