for all those who are wondering what halal is: it basically means it's allowed....with regards to meat. You are taking a life to get the meat and the only way in Islam you're allowed to consume it is if its slaughtered in the way the creator mandated. There's a little detail to it but basically it must be a healthy allowed animal, then beginning by mentioning in the name of Allah, and being swift and efficient in taking the life allowing the fluids to drain and then proceeding to process into meat once its passed on....
