Gorilla glue clear works fantastic but takes forever to dry. Plastic weld with a soldering iron in a non conspicuous area to hold as it dries.

What if you just put the filament straight in there without making the stick first? Like just cut yourself a 2 foot piece of filament and feed it straight into the hot glue gun.

Would an heavy duty one get hotter? I swear my heavy duty one gets so hot like burnt myself on it and heats up so fast! It also has a nozzle you can adjust the thickness.
