From PAPER’s Ayo Edebiri cover, to Makó’s surreal Who What Wear shoot with Elle Fanning, to the incredible visual worlds coming out of Vogue Philippines—we’re seeing something bigger happening in fashion media. These images aren’t simply showcasing clothes. They’re photography, art direction, set design, fashion and storytelling colliding. And maybe that’s why fashion magazines feel so interesting right now. We’ve never had access to more images—and yet, somehow, the images that feel intentional, imaginative and authored are the ones that make us stop. Maybe fashion magazines aren’t having a print renaissance.
