the thing is, she was telling an old tale and old tales have every kind of creatures in them, lions, dragons, unicorns... all stories of physical heroism, its normal. it was dumb of them not to think that the targerians might be insulated but i dont think she even taught any of them would come to the silly commeners show or think anything abt it bc dragons were dead for centuries already

see i understand his anger, even baelor said that such a play was problematic to perform because the dragon is the sigil of the royal family. we might think his reaction was too much but for them and at the time it was completely normal. No one would've had a problem with it if duncan wasn't there. Targaryans are known for being tyrants after all
