@cassondrachristman: He was so darn cute with his new Whaley toy from the wishlist. To be surrendered and then have zero adoption interest for three week is heartbreaking. No foster interest either. Breaks my heart for him. Poor Paiea is 3 years old. Surrendered because his family moved off island. He was neutral with female dogs in playgroup and his owner said he doesn’t have any experience with other dogs. So all he is learning right now is the stress of the shelter dogs surrounded him barking. He knows sit and paw, and has recently started taking a liking to toys! He has gotten amazing reviews on his beach buddy outings with the Public too! Let’s not let the shelter continue to wear this guy down 💔 Please share him he’s at Maui humane society. If you do not live on Maui and are interested in adopting mainland US adoptions are possible airline and travel is usually around $1000-$1500 depending on location and size of the pup.
