@excelerateau: Make public holidays stand out in your Excel roster. Create a list of holiday dates, select your calendar range, then go to Home > Conditional Formatting > New Rule > Use a formula. For dates in row 4 and a holiday list in AT4:AT27, use: =ISNUMBER(MATCH(F$4,$AT$4:$AT$27,0)) Choose a fill or pattern for matching dates. MATCH looks for an exact date match; ISNUMBER turns a found match into TRUE. Keep the holiday range locked and adjust the references to suit your sheet. Both ranges need real Excel dates, including the year. Update your list for the year and region you are planning. Planning staff shifts? ExcelerateAU's 4-week Excel employee roster template includes public holiday highlighting. Save this formula for your next roster. #excel #exceltutorial #conditionalformatting #shiftplanner #exceltips
