He threw the drink in her face and then when she had a totally normal response to slap him for it he then got EVEN MORE VIOLENT WITH HER AND KEPT GOING. I'm so sad because I've heard so many times "women can't stand up to a man in a fight" and they totally can, but not if they try to fight like them. She could have defended herself much more effectively in a similar situation. At least she's still alive as far as I know.
