as a massive kirby fan, at this point i just recommend mario fans who want a new 3d mario to take refuge as kirby fans for now 😭 yall are most likely not getting a new 3D mario for at LEAST the next 3-4 years (considering that bananza came out recently, and that was made by the same team behind odyssey.) us kirby fans practically get spoonfed content, merch and games almost every year. hell, we’ve gotten TWO 3D kirby games in the span of less than 5 years. its a super easy life being a kirby fan, and i absolutely recommend getting into it while waiting for odyssey 2 or galaxy 3.

I want you to remember that Mario team just finished donkey Kong Bonanza that game only dropped last year. They probably finished the moment around 2024 Kirby team dropped forgotten land in 2022. I’ll probably stop development around 2021. So the reason why a new Kirby game is dropping next to your little Mario game hasn’t gotten announced because her team has been working on this game for the past five years and my team just dropped their new game.
