🤔 and how did you come up with that math? typically you would use 116-5/8" pre cut studs for 10 ft wall. plus double top plate and bottom plate gives you 121-1/8" height.. minus 1/2" for drywall ceiling and maybe 3/4" hardwood flooring so finished height inside on an exterior wall is 120" exactly.

I mean- if I am asked how tall a 10’ wall is- I’m gonna tell you- it’s 10’ tall. That’s the only right answer. Nowhere was the question posed- how long are the studs? Or height to single plate or double plate- are we talking on foundation with sill seal? You asked how tall a 10’ wall is. It’s 10’.

the guy was right, the studs are 115 1/2 plus 1 shoe and a double top plate for a total of 10 feet or 120 inch wall ,the question asked about the whole wall not about the stud length for a 10' wall
