@sharpsatprep: Class of 2028, junior year is officially here. Here’s what to focus on from September → November: SEPTEMBER Start by figuring out where you actually stand. Take a full-length SAT diagnostic, set a realistic target score, and look at which Math and Reading & Writing skills are costing you the most points. Your study plan should start with your results—not random practice. OCTOBER For many juniors, October means the PSAT/NMSQT. At the same time, keep working toward your SAT goals. Review your mistakes, practice your lowest-accuracy skills, and start getting comfortable with SAT pacing and Desmos. NOVEMBER If you take the SAT, don’t just look at your total score and move on. Ask: → Where did I gain points? → Which question types am I still missing? → Are my mistakes content, timing, or careless errors? → Do I need another SAT attempt? Use those answers to build your next study plan. You don’t need to have your perfect SAT score by November. The goal is to enter the rest of junior year knowing where you stand, where you can improve, and what you need to work on next.
