@attorneystara: upon reflection, even more mad props to Kevin Reddington for managing 15 touch situations at once in the #lindsayclancy trial and beyond. #lawyersoftiktok
I think it’s not reasonable to think that Patrick did it, but I do think they didn’t do enough of an investigation to rule out questions people would have about him. Must be such a hard line to walk of wanting to leave that doubt but not be attacking or implying someone innocent is guilty - agree such a tough spot

I think he went wrong when he fanned the conspiracy theory flames during the trial. I feel like that’s when the internet went really off the rails.

Yes I don’t understand how him not knowing when he sent an email means he did it. Or moving to New York and getting married at some point after. Which are things I’ve seen

I still can’t believe now people are turning on the jurors because they didn’t vote not guilty period. And not ngri.

I'm just sad and angry that the discourse has gone this Patrick route, because this should have been an uproar from all women to fight for a better mental health system that listens to moms. But no, they need to create their little conspiracies and make it all about A MAN.

It’s definitely no win. He wants the public pressure for the DA but also doesn’t want to feed the conspiracy theories.

The crazies are going to believe what they want to believe, no matter what Reddington says. So what’s the point of trying to argue with crazy???

I think it's so they don't mess up the civil cases... what do you think about that?

I didn’t have questions before the trial. The reasonable doubt based on the timeline but the only other person who could have done it is Patrick. But I’ve been thinking a lot that the 911 call would eliminate Patrick as a suspect

He also certainly is wise enough to know that not speaking directly to it leaves room for more doubt than if he closes that door by publicly stating Patrick didn’t do it. And that doubt works in Lindsay’s favor. And with the uncertainty of the mistrial he could, if he was a piece of shit, keep the question open. I can feel his trepidation when he acknowledges the question… he still hasn’t said clearly “no, there is 100% chance Patrick didn’t commit this crime, we need to put the final nail in this coffin and move forward” and it makes sense to me why he’s still being a little ambiguous.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s gonna stop until the defamation suits start flying. People still believe that she’s never said that she’s did it. The jurors reference watching a video of her interview with a psychiatrist. they most definitely talked about the events of that days. The jurors have access to more evidence, full reports and now they don’t believe the jurors

I do think there is a portion of it all that is Lindsay’s decision. He is loyal to Lindsay, she is his client, we do not know what she wants. Only he does and he’s not going to do anything that will hurt her along the way. I think he’s navigating this as respectfully as he can while successfully moving toward what his client wants.

I do not envy him. It really is a no win. He has to weigh up between doing what is the best for his client who he clearly has a massive amount of care for and also trying to show support for Patrick. It’s a thin line to walk because do you come on strong and risk people turning on Lindsay, or not say enough and you’re awful for letting conspiracy theories run on an innocent man who went through an awful thing. Where’s the line?

Its defense was intended to challenge the DA’s case on her intent and her ability to know right from wrong. The police and DA did a horrible job, almost asking you to hate her like we do rather than look at the poor quality of evidence pointing to her intent/supposed planning.

At this point, I've seen comments like Redddington's been turned or paid or told to keep quiet💀 I'm like what timeline is this because it's wackadoodle. But also, it shows that some people have not come to terms with postpartum psychosis and the empathy is completely misplaced unfortunately.

I’ve seen the comments of people who think he’s “playing chess” when he spoke about the 911 call. The investigation was lacking but what I saw of him on the stand was a man on the verge of a panic attack. Her defense was never that she didn’t do it 🤦🏽♀️Redd is between a rock and a hard place for the reasons you state.

There were alot of things the public got wrong and ran with. One of which was Patrick’s attendance at trial. The judge actually ordered sequestration of witnesses with the exception below. They didn’t even look to see why he wasn’t there. Just ran with it.

I was really glad to hear him try to put some of this stuff to bed. I have a feeling because he didn't say the words "Patrick did not do this and yall need to stop" that people will just keep going cause they are twisting every word, or in this case, lack of words, as Red trying to be vague and cagey.
