But then your brain starts… What if I fail? What will people think? What if I’m not capable? What if I choose wrong? So you pray some more and stay exactly where you are. I FELT that too. I had the degree. The nursing career. The steady paycheck, yet I knew in my heart I wanted a different life for my family. I was terrified to try something completely outside of everything I knew. But eventually I realized I didn’t need God to show me the entire plan before I took one step. So I moved scared and what I FOUND was another option. I learned new skills. I built multiple income streams. I stayed consistent when it was uncomfortable. I did the work in front of me and trusted God with the outcome and that little first step became something I never could’ve mapped out from the beginning. So mama, maybe you don’t need to know exactly where to start. Maybe you just need to stop requiring certainty before you’re willing to take the first step. Pray for wisdom. Move in faith.
