About four years ago, my dealer dealership had a new Huyndai palisade up online for 34k not the 54k the msrp was we probably got like 100 online inquiries overnight. It’s also a good learning lesson that even though leads might not be coming in people are always watching.

It’s just common sense really. 90k off is clearly a human error. 9k off is probably more realistic and if a customer sees a 9k discount and the store tries to change cars or not honor that price, could be fishy. Bottom line, you should always call to make sure the car is there and to get clarification should you see a 90k discount on anything 😂

There are disclaimers on all advertising in case of errors. Dealership not responsible to honor a ridiculous price made in error.

Change the law so advertised price supersedes and I bet these human errors will miraculously stop…

if it's a blatently obvious mistake, and you've offered a clear example of such, that's one thing, but if the mistake is we meant $350 not $3,500 i'm going to ask if this is intentionally misleading.

At the end of the day as a business you have the right to refuse service to any potential customer. No reason needed. At least here in Alabama.

It was a human error……explain it to the customer, apologize for any inconvenience and move on….

Stocked in wrong. Whomever stocked it in CDK or the DM put the numbers in wrong. Website picked it up. Had one pop up for the price of Hold Back. Got about 30 calls that morning. Lol

Under standard contract law, advertisements are treated as an "invitation to make an offer," not a binding contract.
