Could also be hormonal. I had the same issue with the breakage and the consistency changed due to hormones. I started getting an express keritan and it helped tremendously with the breakage in particular.

I started using @Gisou honey gloss line at Sephora and HIGHLY recommend- makes my hair feel much thicker and I’m obsessed with the collagen drops I feel like it’s helped with breakage and when I do slick backs and frizz! 💛
