Cochabamba: Confirman la muerte de un niño por meningitis tras 8 días en terapia intensiva El niño de un año y ocho meses llegó a la ciudad de Cochabamba desde el trópico. Perdió la vida el martes por la tarde. Desde el Hospital del Niño, en la ciudad de Cochabamba, confirmaron la muerte de un menor de edad por meningitis. Fue derivado desde un centro médico del trópico de Cochabamba con el diagnóstico, informaron médicos. El niño de 1 año y ocho meses estuvo hospitalizado desde hace ocho días, su estado de salud decayó con el paso de los días, y perdió la vida el martes por la tarde. “Ingresó el 24 de marzo, referido de un hospital del Chapare, con diagnóstico de meningitis, estuvo en terapia intensiva. Una meningitis, con neumonía, complicado, falleció”, dijo el médico Pablo Dávila.
