Leaving the US for Brasil was easier for me because I was becoming more and more like a stranger in a strange place. I was no longer feeling like I fit in with the environment and people around me in the US. My life long thoughts and beliefs about life were now foreign concepts to most of the people around me. I would rather be a stranger in a new country full of happy people instead of a stranger in a countr that I have grown up in for the last 55 years that is now becoming more and more hateful.

I find it ridiculous that when I tried to go to Ecuador recently I couldn't use any of my birth certificates. now I'm expected to go and order another birth certificate wait for it to show up send it off to get appostilled and then wait to get it back? I don't even have the time for that this is ridiculous
