The WG would never let Garp retire. Look at Sengoku, basically kicking back with his "special inspector" title. They're too strong and know too much to ever let go. In fact, I don't think retirement from the Navy is a real thing. I think the reason Bellemere is so poor is that even though she was at least a warrant officer in rank due to having a Jacket, since the Navy doesn't have any retirement options she was probably tossed out with no further pay. Maybe she even went AWOL though I doubt it was that far, mainly because if she had the navy would have killed her way before Arlong did.

Can u do sword slash angle scaling? I feel like shank’s n rogers horizontal slashes don’t feel the same as mihawk’s n bogards vertical slashes… I feel like oda highlights vertical slashes techniques as more skillful than a hockey stick
