@melissadorman: Don't sign a seller-financed deal until you know what a balloon is. Most of them have one. 🏠 It's a cliff: you pay the seller monthly, then at year 5 or 7 the whole balance is due at once, and your only ways off are sell or go get the bank loan you were avoiding. The seller isn't being sneaky, she just doesn't want to wait 30 years. So before you sign: negotiate it longer (10, 15 years), put an extension in writing, and know your exit on day one. If she won't do any of that, walk. There are 35 million paid-off homes in this country. Attorney writes the note. You read every line. question not related. on a previous video you said to contact bank about PMI. we did yhey said with all the laws we can get PMI off our loan for 4 or 5 yrs. they gave a specific date. i don't recall. any advice?

masterclass. i want to buy my uncles land but its expensive so dont want crazy high taxes and i cant afford it now but could make payments like you're talking about. so i just need an attorney to write something up or how would that work for a seller finance deal so i own the land?
