What kind of balls are you using? I use foam gator balls for dodgeball for less impact.

So we play a version of this too. We call it spider ball. Same concept (minus the kicking). However, once they get hit and play from the floor they have a chance to get back up if they hit someone from a seated position. So it really could be anyone’s game!

I wish we could have separate PE classes for the girls and boys. The best we can do is to put all our PE and Adv PE together and divide up the boys and girls. But we have to share the gym

What do you do if they kick a ball and the person they kick it at then also kicks it… like a deflection…? But they legit kick it…

I would love to play this game with my students! How do you prevent them from punting it in people’s faces? I can just see my students not listening and kicking as hard as they can in the air 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Like the game. Separating by boys and girls in 2026 gets tricky. 😂 I have about 700 students for 5th and 6th. Never had an issue with mixed classes. Girls at this age are just as strong if not stronger and taller.

I teach in Spain and can’t play this game, kids kick so hard.. even sponge balls can hurt other players… have you heard sitting ball game? Is similar but… throwing with hands… thanks for sharing!!
